Mac OpenGL 4 issues
So my original settings were windows 1280x800x32 I changed the drive to openGL 4 and it full screened but only half the screen was VO, the top half was black and what I assume was 1280x800 was rendered on the bottom half?
I tried to change to 1680x1050 (native res) and it crashed, submitted crash report with this same post in it

Got it working with my native res but things like jumping look super pixelated. So does the untextured capitol ship station
Ok 3rd starts a charm, it seems to be rendering everything good now
However it runs like garbage. I doubt that's your fault though I have an old iMac from 2008 I think it's a shitty radeon HD2400 or something
I turned down textures, scene detail, background detail and it only sort of improved it however despite the choppyness the dynamic lighting did appear to work

Huh, strange that multiple runs gave you different results. And I'm also surprised that your hardware from 2008 supported the GL4 driver.
It's probably falling back to the software renderer.
The bug reporter doesn't yet send the opengl4info.log and opengl4err.log files, so if you can post them somewhere that would be great.

It might support the GL_ARB_ES2_compatibility extension even though the card doesn't support all of OpenGL 4.0.
After a full restart of the game, everything that was wrong is working perfectly.
Before the restart, there was a ton of glitchy shit.

The 1.8.328 patch will filter out the software renderer so it shouldn't try using that. And glitches when changing drivers should be fixed as well.
I was unable to fix the issue with rendering to a portion of the screen though.
