Theres no accept button only route and close. Ive tried relogging and docking several times.

You must be docked at a station to accept a mission.

Please add some sort of reminder as has been requested for a while. There are new users everyday that have this problem.

The route button only appears when you are not docked at the specific station that offers the mission. In the training sector where you are, there are two things you can possibly dock in -- the station which is attached to the giant asteroid and the large capital ship that's floating out past the asteroid field. So, double check that you are actually docking with the station, not the capital ship. Also, make sure that you are actually docking with the station, not just landing on it (you know you're actually docked when the interface changes to the in-station interface).

The only other thing I can think of is that maybe you aren't accessing the mission board while docked? It's not enough to dock and then undock. You have to take the mission while you are still docked. (If you're on a device with a small screen, I think you have to swipe the screen or press the menu button to cycle from the Welcome page to the Mission Board page.)
