Ragnarok Mk3 sluggish
Ever since update 1.8.310 the Rag3's have been more sluggish in their handling. I've already put in a support ticket to the devs about this, but thought I'd also post here incase others have also noticed.
It's hard to pinpoint exactly what the change has been, but it's either they have crappier strafing thrust, or something changed in their weight.
It might also be present in the other rag variants.. but I honestly never flew them that much so it's hard for me to have an opinion...

Guess the rag mk3 was too good at killing valk x1's.
edit: Also, I have noticed that my rags are much easier to land shots on lately. But I haven't been able to really say that it's definitely the ship and not me being drunk on top of just not caring enough to give the effort.

I flew a few of these the other day. It doesn't seem any more sluggish, but maybe it's easier to hit now because of the hit check changes?
What arf said makes more sense than anything said above him
I didn't realize ARF was bringing blind cheerleaders to his forum posts now. Hit check changes wouldn't affect the handling of a ship... that clearly makes no sense in regards to my post.
i queened in a Rag today and something really is odd with it. i didn't lose one or anything but the bots scored significantly more hits than usual. since i was stacking most of the time i thought something with the thrust is messed... vrzzzt.
They seem the same to me
I have rigorously tested the II and III, using simultaneous clients in identical measured positions, and the III is still faster than the II by the expected amount. The numbers did not change in the database, the numbers did not change on the client, and I have seen zero evidence to support the behaviour of ships actually being any different.
But, yes, the NPCs may score more hits on you now, due to changes in the collision testing. Which has nothing whatsoever to do with the ship performance.
