Graphics Glitch on Special Ships
Ah, I see the problem. All my valks are untextured, too. Just the lighting changes (from black to yellow/bronze to white/grey). Hmmmmmmm.........

Yeah, there is a bug in the opengl version of the game that doesn't load textures properly sometimes.
This explains white squares for stars and some white objects or black ships. I'm working on it.

This happened in both Jaguar and Panther, BTW..
Hi. One significant graphics problem remains for me after upgrading to Vendetta 3.3.5 and OS X Panther.
Special ships either appear in a cool but unintended jet black or a strange bright white that looks like someone cut the ship out to reveal white paper behind the screen. They seem to turn white when they're close to the sun.
Normal ships are uneffected.

special ships have rglow on them, dont they?
Asp, try /set rglow 0 to see if that does anything
(btw, you suck for having a dual 2.0)

I have the same problem, it takes reloading the graphics to stop it.
Well I've got the same problem (ofcourse cause me and Asp have the exact same system down to our MX500 Logitech mice) and reloading the textures doesn't help. Nor does turning off rglow.
