Make cargo variable protected on android. Was able to change my mass with that. Minus mass = massive acceleration to any direction. Used that to avoid boda, and he's pissed with me now.

Liud plays quite fair in game, so I highly doubt he abused this. Nothing wrong with him having a little fun with it as he explored the various depths of the bug. How else to accurately report it?

Then I mentioned about telling the Dev's and it seemed like he got scared, because he quickly apologized.

Tbh, I thought it was kind of funny. I thought he was just doing something to lag really bad. I had a bot in c2 and I was watching him drop cargo and try to pick it up and I was thinking, "Haha damn that kid fucking lags".... Little did I know.

It's good that this bug was found out or else someone smarter may have abused it a bit differently(imagine how fast you could build a trident or the advantage you would have in fights weighing a bit less than you should or making weapons weigh less so you can make credits faster, or raising standings which I think is what he was doing at the time).But no greenwall he wasn't exploring it. He was exploting it because he has so few good ships on his lite account that he doesnt want them destroyed (Liud told me this the night before).

Look, our primary goal at this point is to address the issue. To his credit, Rallen Bosessen has (privately) gone to some lengths to help out in this regard, working directly with Ray, and we'll take this into account.

I'm not going to comment on administrative action at this time, but in general, if someone finds a bug, they should report it to us before being pushed to do so by some external situation. We've had plenty of people find bugs before, and report them without external attention being brought to their activity, and this is generally what we expect of people.

Anything else is basically exploitative, and frowned upon to different degrees.

For the moment, we're focused on the bug itself. And that's all the commentary I have for now.

@Inevitable This bug way more hazardous than "lighter weapons". I did some testing with my friend, some hours ago before meeting you. Killing a ship with this bug is impossible. Hits are just not registering.
Anyways, I feel sorry that I did that. I admit I exploited the bug to my personal benefit, trying to save my ass from dying.

Well, if it lets you accelerate faster, that means you could traverse space faster, which means you could haul cargo faster, which means you could complete proc missions faster, which means you could raise standings.... wait for it.... faster. Same goes for crafting, trading, etc.
