At least 4 times now I've had VO get stuck with pop up window where the only button is Cancel when rebuying a ship. Once I cancel, I can proceed in the game and I am in possession of rebuy ship. This has never happened before for me.

Yes this was very noticeable during a blockade skirmish in edras last night and appearently server wide still. Used to be after selecting to repurchase last ship/loadout, after getting popped, it would have a small pop up saying "purchasing..." with a cancel button for a short while. You would then be in your repurchased ship loaded out with station and personal inventory replacemants for your repurchased ship. Now it seems to stall on the purchasing/cancel pop up and after you have to hit cancel it then continues to respawn you in your home station only equipped with what the station sells. If you have any personally stored items that the station doesn't sell you now need to reequip them manually after respawning.

Yep, the rebuy dialog takes forever

As I reported, you must now hit the cancel button after you have elected to rebuy. It will then continue through to your homed station loaded out with only those items that are sold at the station. Before launching be sure to check your loadout as any replacement items you have stocked at the station will need to be manually reequipped.

yep, had this problem last night. The actual rebuy happens quickly, but the cancel page never goes away until you click it, but it doesn't cancel the purchase.

Is this problem happening every time or only sometimes?
Does it ever happen when no plugins are enabled?
Or are you using a plugin that automatically buys back your ship if you die?

I've had it do this for me without any plugin that rebuys ships.
It also seems to affect purchasing a preset. Lemme do some testing real quick and I'll try to get you a better answer.

Ok, I found the problem.
If you happen to have an addon in your station inventory that was also purchased as part of the buyback/buy preset, then the problem manifests itself.
This is a server-side issue.

I also noticed that when you do a buyback/preset and an addon of the same type is already in your inventory, that one gets put onto your ship instead of the one that was just purchased.
It's a side effect of how the client does the buyback/preset. It's only noticeable when the addon needs ammo and the one in the station inventory has no ammo left.
This is a client-side issue.

I'm fixing the server-side issue asap, the client-side one will be in the next client update.

I liked when it would take an available item from your inventory and equip it before buying another from the station. Prior to last week the rebuy preset was working fine. Please be careful with the correction. :-)

Well, the available addon in storage may have no ammo left, so that's why I'm changing it to not swap the addon. Otherwise there's no difference between the stored addon and the purchased addon.
The addon will get purchased regardless.
If the addon is not available for purchase, the addon in storage will be used.
