Badges Cutoff in CharInfo Dialog

Feb 09, 2014 meridian link
When viewing the CharInfo dialog of another player, the right side of the badges at the bottom get obscured.

See the example image below. The Trader badge at the end of the first row is barely visible, and a few pixels of the basic miner badge can be seen at the end of the second row before it gets obscured.

Thanks for the report! What platform are you on, and what resolution is your display at in the game (Options -> Video -> Resolution)?

while you are at it, mome -- can you make it so the badges show a text description again if you click them? (i.e. when you look at other players' badges)

They used to do this but after some update a year or so ago they stopped.

Right now if we are to know what specific badge someone else has we have to visually memorize what each badge is.

The image is full-scale, only cropped vertically, so my resolution must have been 800x600 (windowed mode).

I am running Mac OS 10.6.8

Seems to be a small resolution issue since at 1024x640 the problem isn't as noticeable because a player would need to have a lot of badges for them to take up enough horizontal space to reach the point where they get cutoff.

@greenwall--
You can see the name of the badge by hovering the cursor over the badge until a tool tip with the name appears.

No you can't Meridian. I've verified this with other players as well. Hence my post.

Actually Greenwall, it's really quite easy. With a player targeted, just press the k key (or /CharInfo if you prefer), then put the cursor over the badge you want to see the title of (no clicking necessary). It still works with the most recent client update:

No it doesn't, Meridian. At least, not with my client. I've removed all my plugins and it still doesn't work. I guess I'll submit a bug report.

greenwall, do you have tool tips elsewhere? Maybe 'Show Tool Tips' is not selected in the Options->Interface menu.
