Undocking works as instant break
From my capship....
I don't really mind this cause I can avoid slamming into a roid or M7 with it but the ship if it is going to stop should probably do so under normal game mechanics

Oh, you meant "instant brake". I was confused for a moment there.
yea brake
Ah yeah, I'm thinking that you must come to a complete stop before you can leave your own capship.
That would really limit the usefulness of being able to undock in combat situations. Can you make it keep the velocity it has, but tell the NPC who takes over control to set throttle to zero so it slows down like it normally would?
+1 Arf. Otherwise it would be better to just leave it how it is now than require them to stop first.
True, having to stop would be a pain so insta brake would be better than that but when the parameters of the NPC replacement are created if it had the same speed as the pilot and then a set velocity of zero as arf said to cause it to halt under normal game physics means would be best.
I agree with arf.
