Invisible Station Bug Persists
It'll be faster, but still annoying. It's not exactly a solution to the problem either.

That (shouldnt) change texture sets, changing the bitdepth, or any other texture-related options such as filtering or compression will....
I don't know if this is known or not, but the version history says the invisible s9 station bug issue with bump mapping has been fix. It hasn't. I'm on Mac OS X with a 1 GHz PowerBook (32 MB nVidia GeForce FX Go5200). I have to restart Vendetta to get those textures to show up again.

Does it happen....
when you warp?
when you change resolutions or graphics details?
when you first start up and undock?
Do you have...
Bump-mapping off/on?
Do you have doshaders= 0 or 1?
Do you have Vendetta in windowed mode or not?

It happens the first time I enter the game; usually when I'm homed in a sector other than s9. I'm having no slowdowns or any other problems whatsoever with the sector. It's just the damned station becomes invisible until I restart Vendetta. I have my textures set to "high" and all the extra effects turned on (illumination mapping, bump mapping, and that other one which I can't remember now). The problem corrects itself after restarting Vendetta once though. Is this another one of those nVidia bugs that keep cropping up?
Have you tried reloading the textures (ie changing the resolution to one lower, then back up again)?
