Deneb Border Combat
1) Large Skirmish: Heavy Assault Cruiser will continue to fire at the direction of the enemy nuke ship(golden blasters) even after the other cap ships move into a defensive position in front of the ship.
--I have seen my own teams heavy assault cruiser destroy our heavy transport/meat shield on multiple occasions after the mission announcement comes up requesting defense of our heavy assault cruiser.
2) A) Trident swarm cannons: They do not reload while in the turret. The only way to reload the gun is to enter and exit the turret.
B) By entering and exiting the swarm turrets you can effectively machine gun fire swarm missiles I have been able to get 5-8 sets of swarm shots out at a given time. I could probably get 10-20 out with proper hud set up and macro/alias commands on another target.
3) Teradon Frigate will sometimes become locked up or remain stationary after the heavy transport effectively shields the heavy assault cruiser. Even when still at 50 to 75% health the ship will become stationary and no longer fire the big golden laser bolts when this occurs. I've only seen this happen twice and both times it was the Itani Teradon.
4) Maybe not really a bug, but it seems like the AI for the Tridents is hit or miss on tactics. It seems to only do one of two things.
a) Hide behind the heavy assault and sit for long period of time
b) suicide dive into the enemy fleet, usually lasting no more than 2-3 minutes after arrival.
5) Sunday event points do not seem to be considered in either the previous week or the current week rankings. Not that this is a huge deal, but it does take away one of the only perks of participating the event.
In general this system is fun and has been a blast as a new player as an alternative to hive hunting for skill ups. That seems to be about the only benefit at this time other than the pride of having your name on the board. Granted this is mostly a bug report, but I would love to see some sort of system that allows Deneb vets the opportunity to play captain of the cap ships. Possibly a system based on stats and hopefully on a timer to prevent sabotage or foolish behavior.
I've been enjoying the game thus far. Keep up the good work and I hope the above issues help make the system better.

The winning nation sends a war convoy to blockade the other nation's greyspace wormholes. I think that's based on who's winning at any given moment rather than the overall winner for the week. Not sure as I hardly ever pay attention to Deneb.
Also, problem 2 B (turret spam) has been fixed as of last night, according to the patch notes at least.

NPCs in general are *really* dumb and have no regard for what's in between their target and the end of their guns.
I've seen the Serco Teradons get stuck like that too. Sometimes you can ram them really hard and they'll get un-stuck, but that's iffy at best.
The Tridents in the Large Skirmish and Border Battle take one of two roles:
The offensive ones charge toward the enemy fleet and start firing on their capital ships, usually to their own demise. This isn't necessarily a BAD thing, since if you've got players in bombers who've already taken down some of the enemy caps, this Trident offers reloads and repairs in the thick of the enemy fleet, which can turn the tide of the fight dramatically.
The defensive ones stay back with the rest of the fleet and only attack enemy capital ships that try to shoot at their HAC. Sometimes they get too close and get tangled up in the HAC's wings, which is pretty funny. :)
Don't forget, these missions are PvP/PvE combo. Ask on ch11 for help from players of your nation. Likewise, if you want to spice things up, give a holler on ch100 when you do a skirmish. You might attract attention and have enemy players to contend with.
