Like, im going to mine stuff and when i click to fire the beams nothing happens. i switched to my other ship and same thing happens. i checked the binds and they were all set the way they should be and the play style is keybord and mouse so idk whats going on. anyone have an idea as to what the problem is?

You have to target the asteroid. Aim at it and press the 'b' key (or if you were on a touch-screen device, you could tap the asteroid itself, I believe).

i already have been targeting it. but when i am close enough to fire the beams it still dosent fire. even then im switching to a ship that can fire freely without targeting anything and it still dosent do anything.

What range are you firing at? Most mining beams require being within 100m (or 75 or 25 in an extreme example). You will always have to target the asteroid in question in order to use a mining beam.

You'll know if you're too far out as you'll see a message in the chat window "Too far to mine anything" or some such.

im fireing at the required range. and even when im not in rage and fire the meddage dosent show when i have the beams attached to the ship, and yes im targeting them

Check the weapon groups.

i did and everything alright. same keys to be used for the weapons. its just not doing anything

Well, if you've checked the groups, you've checked the binds, even normal weapons aren't firing, and you're sure the beams/weapons are equipped, I'd say it's time to put in a support ticket.

weird thing is even on android it still has the same problem.
