If you open a chat dialog in space, and someone damages or heals you, the hit flash makes the chat box seem invisible. Text entered after is no longer visible. But it still registers as being typed in and can still send messages, just can't see it.

Resets when you open a new box.

Open chat box
Have someone damage or heal you
see :)

Are you using FlamboyanceHUD in /hud health mode? Because that is a bug of the plugin not the game.
