no plugins. I did have a gamepad connected.

What change did you make to the settings?
Some of the settings cause the UI to destroy and recreate itself. When that happens, there's a chance that there's a reference to an old control and when that old control is referenced, that iup error happens.

when attempting to get more real estate when using my gamepad, I disabled " enable touchscreen mode ", but when I logged off and then came back later my touchscreen keyboard would not show up to log in. I attempted to enable the option to get my keyboard back, and the error showed up upon enabling. I think the keyboard should not be included in this option imo. thanks :)
