All my sector notes i put in yesterday are now gone..
Please tell me they dont delete upon logout?
Any help or resolve would be appreciated...There is no way i can re-enter them every time i log.. :(

Are you on the same device you were on when you set them? They're stored as text files.

The game usually saves them as long as it doesn't crash or anything.

Yes same computer...they were there this morning-- i have it logged on during work and i mine..i did log out for lunch and then all of the sudden- after logging back in - they are gone..
didnt have a ton...ill store them again and try to take note of any issues if it happens again.

If your VO client crashes, or doesn't quit via the normal devices (pressing the log off button, then the quit button), you'll lose any changes in the sector notes you made during that session.

no, they were notes made earlier in the week, that's why odd and frustrating..all i can do is keep a more close eye on it as of now.. Not a huge issue as i just started playing again and only had a few notes.

you got a name change you dingbat, you get sector notes saved based on your name.

go into your sector notes folder and rename the folder of your character name to your new one

on a side note is that a bug all sector notes should save per acct not per toon

It's by design. You can always copy the files between them if you'd like.

They are saved by character but as noted you can just copy them to a different characters folder. You can also back them up as well....
