Problem: Basic Miner Accomplishment not registering mining activity.

Description: I have an active mining mission, and am mining away on an asteroid. My Mining Experience is going up (I'm in part way through level 7 now) but my number of cu remaining to reach Basic Miner II is stuck at 5326 and not going down. I have increased my mining experience from around 7,000xp to 17,549 through many recent missions, but the Basic Miner accomplishment status has remained at 5326 for two days now.

That badge requires you to mine and sell the ore to receive credit

Yep, it requires that you sell the ore after mining it, or if you give it to the specific set of Mining missions at Mining stations. (The ones that give you a set price per cu, IIRC)

You don't necessarily have to mine and sell the same ore. Blow up some hive transports and sell the ore they're carrying and see if it ticks up.

That will only work if you have dumped ore previously ie mined but not sold the ore.
