I searched and found no help to fix the problem. Decided to try out the trail after seeing the Kickstarter campaign.

I have my trail now active and over 50 times so far I get immediately connection lost. The other 50 times I get it just after hitting accept to the EULA and while getting the box Gathering ships or something like that.

Kind of disappointing that the game has been out but yet people with good connections and no network limitations cant even get in game to try.

Just because you have a problem doesn't mean it's a widespread issue. The vast majority of people run the game just fine. But when you have a thousand different people connect to the game each month, a problem that only effects 1% of people will show up 10 times. (These numbers were all pulled out of my butt as an example, BTW, I have no idea what the actual statistics are.)

You're going to need to provide more details about your setup before anybody will be able to help much. OS, 32 bit or 64 bit client, type of internet connection, anything else you think might be relevant. Do you have a firewall or antivirus program that might be interfering? If you can post the errors.log file from the Vendetta folder, that might help as well. It's located at ~/.vendetta/errors.log on Linux. Dunno what path it is at in the other OSes.
