Old forum threads auto-lock? Exception for Community Projects
I wanted to post an update to my forum thread listing all my plug-ins ( http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/16/22074 ), but apparently there is a new implementation on the forums where old topics cannot be edited or replied to.
While that may be well and good for the most of the forums, I would argue that the Community Projects section should not have such restrictions. A good example of why would be for an old thread about a plug-in that now has a broken link. If the original topic is locked, then someone inquiring if anyone in the community has a copy of the plugin will have to create a new topic. However, the wiki plug-in page will still link to the original thread, which is where a fixed link really should be posted.
Plus it would help plug-in authors like me who want to keep a single thread listing all of their plug-ins and not have to worry about it "locking" due to inactivity.

FYI-- a new version of MfgAide is available. I don't want to create a new topic for it, so until this issue is resolved you can read about it here: http://www.mister-jmp.comze.com/vo/mfgaide.html

Any guide can revive a thread. I've revived yours for the moment (or it should be anyway, let me know if it isn't).
Nope! Still cannot reply or edit posts on the thread linked above.
EDIT: momerath fixed it 2 March 2013
