NPC Capship Sometimes Spawn in Too Close
As the title stated. This has been noted in Itan K-11, Eo J-11 recently, and others whenever a capship attempts to spawn with an NPC convoy. The capship does not appear to be trying to dock. Observation shows it's trying to maneuver out of the way, but is in so close to the station that its collision code keeps it from getting out. This is likely due to 2 causes: 1) Spawning in too close. Current code appears to have a 1000m limit on the spawn point for NPC convoy capships, but the spawn rules appear to have roughly a +/- 1000m radius change in spawn location (for randomization). If spawning at maximum variability TOWARDS a station, this can cause the capship to spawn in too close. An easy fix in this case would be to spawn the capship within its randomization limit around the jump point out of the sector. 2) Capships can only move forward. If spawning in too close and pointed in the right (well...wrong) direction, the capship cannot extricate itself from its position since it can't back up to "avoid" the station. Allowing capships to back up when stuck would also fix the still occasionally viewed issue of capships getting stuck near asteroid when in route.
