If you have Vendetta running in the background and Android kills it off, it doesn't clean up it's notification area icon. Pressing on it re-opens the game activity, but it re-loads from the beginning.

The only way to get rid of it is to let the game re-load entirely and quit it from the menu or by using the "Force stop" button in the OS's Application Info screen.
