Deneb Casualty Bug

Oct 30, 2012 idd link
In a large, i saw a Serco connie be destroyed and we took 500 casualties. When i destroyed the Itani's connie, they only took 100 casualties. I think this is unfair in the war in Deneb to both sides.

Connies are worth 200 always. It might be helpful for the devs to look into it if you say which large skirmish. Maybe link to the stats page.

The large skirm im talking about is Deneb P-11. Iv seen this happen in mediums and other large skirmishes too. Serco only won because i was there.

The lookup for the casualties could hardly be simpler, and I just triple-checked that the numbers match between Serco and Itani for all ship types. I don't disbelieve you, but I can't begin explain your experience. Can anyone else corroborate?

Im seeing in the logs for the skirm, "587 casualties taken due to the loss of the *SMV Chararus". When i killed their heavy transport, it only counted 100 casualties to them. I was the only one in the skirmish though, but i do believe others have seen it. And the SMV Chararus was the connie in that skirm. Is it possible to check the mission itself?

That's cumulative for the whole mission. Meaning the 200 from *SMV Chararus was added to 387 casualties that your team had already taken. I guess the wording of it is kinda misleading.

...and no one told me this why?...

heh -- yeah I've played a couple skirms up there, maybe more than a couple... and have never seen any inconsistency with the casualty counts.

I agree, this has been intermittently happening ongoing for over a year in my opinion

I assumed it was part of the game and not a bug
I considered that it could be possible that a ship sometimes is damaged before the war started so it might have already had less people on it due to some kills/damages or something.

I really wasn't sure but figured it was part of the game.
Anyhow just to confirm I have noticed this for over a year

Although I don't play anymore, I am checking in from time to time to see if anything changes in Deneb as far as player turnout and wanted to weigh in on this since Deneb is the most fun of the game in my opinion
