"Video" and "Graphics" settings changes do not take effect since Vendetta 1.8.232
"Video" and "Graphics" settings changes do not take effect and sometimes crash the game on Linux x64 since Vendetta 1.8.232.
I haven't figured out exactly which silly dance it takes to make it segfault, but I submitted the crash via the bug reporter. I believe draugath was having this problem too.

Confirmed.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Load vo.
2. Change a setting, like fullscreen mode, glow effects, etc.
3. Exit normally.
4. Restart client.
Clarification, for me....the settings to not save on exit. I crash at times going from windowed to fullscreen, but that happened before the MT update.

After turning shaders and full scene glow effect off, I'm not able to turn the latter back on even though shaders are on and working (Mac OS 10.8, AMD 6750m card).
Same.
When I change like the texture detail and save, it normally turns a white kinda background, and when I restart the setting are back to what they were.

I can get the game to segfault with regularity by merely opening Video options. It doesn't happen 100% of the time on the first open, but closing and re-opening it will eventually cause a crash for me. I have also submitted a couple crash reports after doing this. Occasionally it will also crash making a change and clicking "Apply" in Video options.
Here is the output of glxinfo if that helps.

Thanks for the reports. We're working on these problems. They're not 100% perfectly reproducible on-demand so they are difficult to track down, but we're doing what we can.
