CTC transport bug
If another player is in Divinia M14 or Pyronis L6 when a CtC transport makes its delivery, the load brought in is doubled.
erm
I guess to clarify, when this occurs, both "Axia Transport ASD-FGHJL; delivered 19 units to Catequil Outpost" and "Transport delivered 19 units to Catequil Outpost" or whatever appear in the channel. I believe it has something to do with the sector simulation running alongside the awake sector, instead of being terminated when the sector is awakened.

It's a feature not a bug.
If it is removed there will be no incentive to escort the convoy at all, teams will just kill the transport in bractus c5/sedina l2 add it to their stockpile bot. No actual escorting gameplay will take place.
This will be our strategy if the ctc convoy double is removed. The only reason DSO and myself started playing CtC is because we discovered this mechanic which makes the whole activity much more sensical.
I will happily edit the original information mission to include information about it, also new players should see http://sercodominion.org/Capture_the_Cargo

Liking and benefiting from the effects of a bug does not make it any less of a bug.
What slime said.
A bug is s bug.
And ctc is just a boring bug that doesn't have a purpose at this time. minus bragging rights to getting the crappy same old stuff, again. If your respective nation wins, buy 1000cu of the weapons and feed to new players, rinse and repeat.

In the absence of developer confirmation that it is a bug, and the presence of logical reasoning for the behaviour, the only logical conclusion is that it is an undocumented feature and not a bug.
The absence of documentation for this feature is the only problem. Sources tell me that A1kon made the last changes to the CtC code which is probably why Incarnate doesn't know about it.
It's a good feature, get over it.

Does it actually count twice or is it just reported twice?
That's just funny to hear the little smurfs crying about that, while they are actually using that feature...
Of course we're using this "feature" - There's no other way to come close to winning if your opponent is doing it too.
Ray, it does count twice, but only if there's someone in the sector when the transport docks. Otherwise it only counts once.

It actually counts twice Ray, but only when a player is present in the delivering sector
Ah ok. It's definitely a bug. It probably started when we changed the way bot inventory works.
The next server update will fix the problem.
However, the fix causes cargo that someone gives a bot (drop it off in front of the bot and the but runs over it) to not be counted.

Aww darn. There goes my idea to double up captured AND delivered xith by dropping it in front of my own convoys. Shucks! :P
Ray, if you're going to be fixing this problem for CtC, why not take a look at this one too while you're at it?
Stupid bots.
