Large skirmish in high density asteroid field.

Sector was essentially too laggy to make anything work in a half decent manner. It is still active as of 8 am PST -9 in Deneb L-6.

Would be fun to have a large in a sector with asteroids though. Defenders advantage could be having their main fleet protected by the asteroid field while the attacking fleet has to stay outside of it.

EDIT: Another bug that seems to have come back since the mission updates is missions not being removed from the list once theyre over. Currently there are two Medium Skirmishes available.

You sure this wasn't client-side?

I've seen stranger things happen if your connection to the main server gets bent.

Yeah it's not client side. The server/sector side of things hangs real bad when a skirmish spawns on one of those sectors. There's literally thousands of asteroids in those Deneb ice field sectors and it seems to give the NPCs a hard time.

They're ok in the ones with only a couple hundred roids.

there is a ridiculous amount of roids in that sector, I think someone said there are as many roids in one of those Deneb test fields as there are in some entire systems

And given that, it breaks terribly and i'm not sure why Inc left them there :P

I have scanned nearly 8000 in a single sector... interesting experiment but I am not sure the effect was worth it.

Thanks for the report. I somehow missed that one sector when excluding that type from BS; it's fixed now. I'll look into the multiple mission listing thing.
