Bug in mission "Gift of Divinia Spice" ?

I started that mission at Verasi I-5, then went all the way to Odia M-14 as indicated. There, the NPC talked to me, and finally told me to follow him inside the staation. But once I got in the station, nothing happened. I got out, entered again, nothing. I went back to Verasi I-5, just in case, but nothing either.

I saw a white line "Data Uploaded" in the chat window, but my mission pad still says "Launch into space and follow your navigation route to Odia M-14".

Hmm, this is the first I've heard of an issue like this. Thank you for the report. The mission is ID# 801.

Try aborting the mission, it should show up again in the mission board at Verasi I-5. Are you able to reproduce the bug?

Well I went back to Verasi I-5 again and while checking my ships docked there I noticed one with the datapads still inside. So I guess the mission works better if I bring the dapatads with myself... (yeah it does, I did it again and it's complete now).

Sorry about the trouble...

I'm not sure how much hand-holding should be expected of missions, but I've seen many similar questions/complaints about other missions as well. The end result was basically the person didn't have the item that was given to them because it was either in the station cargo hold or they switched ships, not realizing they were leaving the mission item behind.

Should the mission system be more blatant in informing people when they've received a mission specific item and where it's being placed?

Should missions be written to inform the player that they don't have the necessary item with them when they reach the delivery point? (eg. NPC: "You're the delivery guy, right? Where's my cargo? You lazy swine, go get me the cargo I paid for!")

Generally, I agree missions should be clear and concise in describing requirements, as well as responsive and adaptive to potential outcomes.

so some of the newbs dont like to read the tuts already, i mean how manys times do we have to answer the same questions? (ie: how do i buy a ship, how do i level, where is a power cell) so now instead of reading the missions, very carefully just tell them to ask us all the time about everything
