Lighting mines in front, avalons in back slot.

Ok now we got ships that can kill themselves but create double nuke bubbles at whim, by detonating the nukes on the mine A few rich players are abuseing this to ruin gameplay.

suggested fix: 3 second fuse on avalons.

Sweet. Thanks for the new exploit. Got my new anti-rocket rammer device now.

=)

Again, this would be something best reported with the Bug Report immediately to the left of this post.

Yah. I've actually done something like this in the past, that wasn't so much of an exploit because it was really hard. I just ram the people at point blank with an avalon. Of course, since it's so slow and the proxy radius is 10m, it's nearly impossible. It's great when it goes off, though... :P I agree, though, that is a nasty exploit...

Idea stolen from America's Army: Warhead does not arm until you clear the blast radius. Running around a warehouse with an M203 will not help you, because the thing will be a dud when it hits the wall 10 feet from you.

Same thing could work with Vendetta. The warheads do not arm until they are out of damage range from you. If they hit a ship, there's a thud, minimal damage is done, end of story.

100% out would be a bit much... I'd say more like 50% out of the blast radius...

See that's the cool thing about the M203. IRL the thing has a safety fuse that works exactly the same way as in America's Army. I too think the Avalons should work the same way. Same with sunflares maybe.

Actually I doubt this is a bug, Although it migfht be stuick in the same class as station nuking and rocket ramming(Exploits of code working like it is supposed too)

Ya it's not a bug. It is a logical consequence to a poor design choice given the Vendetta universe physics. Imagine what would happen in our world if battleships had front mounted depth-charge launchers. What if a bomber with ball-turrets could have fired at their own wings?

arolte, actual it's a timed fuse... But it serves the same purpose.

I honestly think a timed fuse would be the best idea. and if it hits something, it just bounces off it. the question is, does the nuke vanish after hitting someone, or bounce in a random direction?

Maybe it could push them to the side! :P

I'd rather have it self-destruct the warhead and become space-debris. Maybe it could be blown up if somerthing bad happens to it.

Kinda like mines and munitions left over after a war? Oh wait, I hear tons of lag problems.......
