Resolution, video settings, binds, joystick configs not saving after logoff
Im having a strange problem with my game that has never happened before. Each time i log in, the Video and resolution settings are reset. Also, all (or most) of the binds and aliases i'd previously written are no longer there, and sometimes even my joysticks lose the set functions i'm used to. So i have to continuously go back in and reset everything how I like it. This has happened every time ive logged in since a few days ago.
I've tried reinstalling the game and copying in the older settings of the config.ini and the wgaf.cfg (as well as my plugins and skins), but to no avail. I cant think of anything ive done recently to make this happen and its really a pain in the old hoof. Any guidance would be much appreciated.

p.s. I run the game on Ubuntu 10.04

Does it crash when you exit? The settings don't seem to get saved properly unless you exit the game cleanly. Copying the files in probably should have worked though..
Might also want to check your file permissions
it never crashes, and i do exit properly: logoff > quit. right? and PaKettle, could you be more specific? what files?
Yep same here
Yes crashes on exit on linux 64bit client
Does not crash on windows 32bit on exit, however does not save settings on windows 32bit either

This should have been fixed as of the Friday update. Captain86, did you test with the latest version?
Yes, and did fresh install of various linux OS's and no effect VO freezes on exit for all 64bit clients
I ran without Unity Ubuntu and only booted to LXDE interface and Gnome3 classic (no effects) and freezes on exit
I tried various previous versions of nvidia drivers to consider if this may be the cause.
I have no idea why and do not know if it's VO linux 64bit client related or if it's the OS, or if it's just something that linux is doing when setting up the OS on this particular computer
I will try on 2 other computers to test further I do have other workstations here to test on.
I do not have a 64bit Windows system to test on but the Windows 32bit versions seem to exit fine.
I'll report back the results of loading VO on other computers

If you get a chance, please try 64bit Ubuntu on different hardware, and let us know if that still freezes? It could be related to the specific hardware being used on the problematic machine. I thought we had tested this pretty recently. I mean, Michael develops on Linux-64 at home and work, I'm a little surprised if this has escape our notice. But it could be related to some installation or hardware specifics that aren't represented in our testing samples.
the newest update seemed to fix it for me. keep up the good work
