At first I didn't think anything of it on the bounties, but then I noticed the same sort of thing on the CtC stats page here: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/ctfstats/230

From the CtC stats: "*D:70056:yoda"
From the bounties: "*D:173130:Hoden Dokelis has 1 bounty totaling 623676 credits."

This had me thinking, since yoda deletes and re-creates characters pretty often... Are these deleted characters? Why would the Top Bounties list someone who no longer exists in the game?

The database query for those lists don't filter out deleted characters. It should. Thanks for the report.

No probs. I'd have said something sooner but I didn't know that was a deleted character. People make some strange names in VO. :)

The web site has been fixed to not show deleted characters in ctf. Because of this, the numbers may not add up properly on the web page. Internal calculations haven't changed though.

Also released is a fix for marshals to not show bounties for deleted characters.

OOoo, somebody misses Alpha!

It actually made sense for the website to show it, since it's historical data. The only part that was really silly was having the marshal report it as a top bounty since you can't claim a bounty on someone who doesn't exist anymore.
