weapon grouping and secondary fire bug
I can't have anything else than single primary fire working.
No way to have my secondary fire or tertiary fire ... I need to switch weapons !
If I group 2 weapons on the primary fire group, I only have the primary weapon firing.
I tried to rebind, restart, change ship, edit conf file by hand, anything ... no luck.
I'm running Linux.

Did you click the apply button? If you just go to the next trigger it'll just forget the changes you made. Keep hitting that apply button.
I investigated a bit more and found I was able to have a secondary fire if I have one weapon selected for group 1/primary fire and a different weapon selected for group 3/secondary fire (group 1 and 2 referred to primary, 3 and 4 to secondary, 5 and 6 to tertiary).
But no way to group weapons.

Are you using a mouse or joystick?
Please make sure you have tried the following:
1) Select Weapon Group tab.
2) Select Group 1 on the right side of the screen.
3) RED-HIGHLIGHT any weapons you want to link to your primary
fire button on the left side of the screen.
4) click APPLY button.
You have now grouped your weapons to fire together and linked them to your primary fire button. (This is the default. You can create an additional configuration for your primary fire button by following the directions immediately below.)
1) Select Group 2 (this group will create a different primary
fire configuration. You must hit "2" after leaving the dock
use it with your primary fire button. Hit "1" to switch back)
2) RED-HIGHLIGHT any weapons you want linked to to your primary
fire button (2nd configuration).
3) Hit APPLY
1) Select Group 3 (this will be the default for your secondary
fire button.)
2) RED highlight...you get the idea.
Group 1 will the the default weapon configuration for your primary fire button.
Group 3 will be the default for your secondary fire button.
You may change configurations by using the number keys. Watch the weapons icons on your HUD change to indicate which weapons are selected.

It's true, it could be clearer.
Yes, you can use the Weapon Group page to bind weapons to primary,secondary and tertiary buttons. You can link two or more weapons to fire together, and you can create alternative weapon groupings for different situations.
I always define groups 1 and 3, and sometimes group 2 if I have a ship with a lot of weapons.
