This is certainly a bug of some sort, but due to the fact that I have a number of plugins running that are in development, I don't think it would be a problem that will show up on most people's systems.

I believe this is somehow related to the interaction of OpenAlarm() during logon before the HUD is displayed. Also, this screenshot was taken from my Linux system, so if the touchscreen controls seem a little wonky, that's probably why.
