In the Deneb skirmishes if you hop in a trident you can glitch the trident into doing a fast reload. And the Trident seems to not reload if this isn't done or takes a really, really long time to reload?

Get in Trident. Get in turret on trident. Fire. Hop off the turret. Immediately hop on the turret. Fire. The missiles then fire even though you just shot some 2-3 seconds ago.

It will be a shame to see this bug fixed because I rather enjoy it, but alas it must come to pass(unless it's not a bug? pretty please?).

I wouldn't worry too much, it's been that way for years and nobody's fixed it so far. And yeah,it's a bug
