Fluid Formable Silksteel limited 10 per day
I tried accepting and aborting the manufacturing mission for Fluid Formable Silksteel (FFSS), and after 10 times it was no longer available. I logged back in a couple hours later and it still was unavailable. I am going to assume that means it is only available 10 times per day.
But looking at the requirements to manufacture a Trident M, it requires lots and lots of FFSS. An External Hull requires 5 FFSS plus 2 Internal Bulkheads. An Internal Bulkhead requires 1 FFSS and 5 Reinforced Bulkheads. A Reinforced Bulkhead requires 5 FFSS. So really, in total an External Hull requires 57 FFSS, and an Internal Bulkhead 26 FFSS. The Trident M uses 24 External Hulls (1,368 FFSS) and 50 Internal Bulkheads (1,300 FFSS). In addition there is 324 FFSS for 6 Hangers, 62 FFSS for two Engine Pylons, 20 FFSS for the Reactor, and 50 FFSS for two Engines, plus another 40 FFSS for the Trident M manufacturing mission itself. Adding it all up results in 3,164 FFSS in total to build the Trident M.
That's about a year for an individual to assemble all the FFSS required for 1 Trident, and still over a month for a guild of 10 with everyone maxing out the mission daily.
I won't list out the calculations, but there is also 3,062 Fused Composite Plating required in total, which I assume has a similar max per day.
I suspect that the total number of Fluid Formable Silksteel modules required wasn't actually taken into consideration (50cu each, ouch!), but that is beyond the scope of this bug report.
[EDIT]
That's 78,080 Synthetic Silksteel required for the combined FFSS and FCP (312,320 cu), in addition to all the other items needed to manufacture it.

Its irritating but, it seems reasonable. The only unreasonable part IMHO is requiring, missions from all three stations.
owned
since silksteel is one word the actual acronym is ffs
which is rather hilarious as I would say the real acro for ffs could apply to the frustration you just calculated

The limit has been increased to 200/day, on both FFS and FCP. I meant to bump the limits on the base items on Fri, but forgot.
aww damnit
Nice report meridian. Calculations like these always seem to put things in perspective. At least it's a one-time journey, with a relatively insignificant 500,000cr buyback once you've got it. That's actually (or, not surprisingly) a pretty clever scheme. It is a unique implementation, like cap ship shields. Now it seems the limiting reagent will be how long it takes to gather the items for these missions, such as how much silksteel one can accrue.
Remember the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
I would be one of those standing aghast except I know certain players have been preparing for this for months. Therefore I expect to see an economy of scale build up around some hive drops.

Also, I dropped the reqs to 8 External Hull Assemblies and 10 Internal Bulkhead Assemblies, which should make things drastically less painful.
Awesome Inc. Those changes drop the volume of raw goods needed from over 1 million cu to 465,983 cu (if my calculations are correct). Plus 268,844 cu in manufactured goods.
