Just downloaded Vendetta from the Android Market on my Xoom, and when the installer finished running, it looks for an update, but say "Downloading updates..." forever and never proceeds to finish the update. The Tutorial and Play buttons are inactive and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to make the game update and play.

Ideas? Help?

Hmm, did it actually get through the process of downloading the main game data? It has to download about 200MB of additional "stuff", after the initial install completes.

Try putting your device on wifi (if possible), double-checking that the internet is working (with a browser), and then re-running the game. Please tell us what happens.

We're very sorry you're experiencing this problem, we haven't seen it in our testing before.

It appears to download all the game data, and only locks up at the end of the updating process, which occurs just after install but before you can play. I tried relaunching and reinstalling the app, but the same thing happens. I'm plugged in and on WiFi. Going to try another reinstall on a different WiFi network...other than that I'm stumped :(

That worked! For whatever reason the wireless network I was on before didn't work. Maybe port problems on my corporate network or something, but I can run the game now...thx

I am having the same issue. Motor xoom, downloads from market, open app, it updates. When I click play the screen goes dark then goes to update screen again. I have uninstalled/ reinstalled app about 4 times but same thing happens. I have tried mobile network and multiple wifi connections.

headstrong56003, it goes back to the update screen every time? How many times did you try before uninstalling and reinstalling?
