Today I warped into B8 and was about to fight Shar when I saw him engage with what looked like an npc. It was a UIT npc named "*Baka Kastras". When I checked the character info page it had all of Niki's information, except the wrong name. In fact it was Niki (normal Itani Niki, not some alt), apparently my client was just being weird.

I did have Targetless installed, don't know if that could have a bug that influenced this. Targetless showed him as an npc as well, as did the killed-by list in my pda.

Oh, when I warped into the sector, or maybe a bit after that, my "player entered sector" plugin told me that Niki was in the sector. But as you can see in the screenshot, the sectorlist disagreed.

I had already seen and fought Niki earlier during that session and he looked normal then.

Niki has an NPC cloak, WTF!?!?

Could be plugin related, but I don't think (I maybe wrong) that targetless does anything to the +toplist. Good bug anyway!

Ah the next excuse for shooting people.... You looked like an npc.

Did Shar see the same as you or did he see 'Niki'?

He saw him as "Niki".

Also, Niki still looked like an NPC to me after I left the sector and returned. He hadn't left the sector yet though.
