Sometimes when I try to start up VO, I get an "Invalid File" notice right after the update window closes.
Also, when I try to buy back last ship configuration the game crashes. Itss not like the other thread where it says it crashes if the equipment is not available at the station. It happened at Sedina D14, my ship config was a Corvult, sunflares, gauss mk2, and fast charge cell. Im pretty sure those are available at the station.

I get a crash on buyback too. My ship definitely is available at D14 - Corvult + 2x Gauss MkII + Fast Charge.

Linux, in case it matters.

Shadoen, what OS are you seeing this 'Invalid File' notice?
And do you know if it's an OS window or a window generated by Vendetta?

For some reason when I start the game User Account Controls asks me if I want VO to make changes to my computer's hardrive. I click yes and it takes like 5 minutes for the update window to show.
However, when I try to start it up again (Between the time I first started andd the update windows loads) UAC again asks me if I want VO to make changes to my hardrive, I click yes again. This time the update window opens, and the game loads.

I think the problem happened when the game was updating and I had both update windows running, both updating the game. I closed one window and when the other was done updating and I clicked "Play Vendetta" I got the Invalid File notice.

Hm, that could have been the problem.
