I ran through the mission string that ends with getting an EC class manual and instructions to head to a sector and dock with a connie for EC-88 access. All the missions were taken from Dau K-10 (TPG), with which I have high Admired standing.

When I got to the sector with the connie, while carrying my EC class manual, I was told (1) to dock and (2) that I must not leave the sector. The connie was, inexplicably, a Serco connie and refused to allow me to dock -- I have +40 or so with Serco, so Neutral. When I left the sector, the mission gave me angry text and didn't grant access to the EC-88.

At no point was I informed that I needed standing with anyone, much less my home faction when the mission came from TPG. You guys need to put more thought into these things.

Yeah, kind of makes this mission tree impossible for native KOS players too.

Which would be fine -- if they bothered to tell us about the requirement somewhere in the mission.

probably more like "clicked player faction instead of station issuing faction" fail when they did the spawn

It would be fine for you Lector, but if I take a mission from TPG, I do not expect any Serco involvment, so no, it's not OK.

Yeah, this is my fault. I'll look into it and get working on a fix.
