Alloh, you have absolutely no understanding of how faction works in this game. Grey is to nationality as bald is to hair color. And no, this should not be in suggestions, it is absolutely a bug that I appear to be a UIT national in chat when I very clearly am not and have no intention of being. Very often I will kill a UIT noob and he will be incredibly confused because someone "of his own nation" killed him.

Opinion of this thread can probably be summed up as follows: when someone delivers a popular message via unconventional means, is he a troll or a visionary?

Possibly both. Without some trolling, societal progress would grind to a halt. That being said, I think we can all agree (including the devs) that this is a bug.

Yeah, just make them grey so they stop whining allready. Or make them pink, yeah... pink is better.

No - BUG implies the program is doing something the devs did not intend. This is a feature even if it is unloved like you. :P

Yes we need an unaligned faction... still, but Inc has not said Soon(tm) yet. Personally I think they should created a Hive faction so there are fewer issues with the unaligned one IMHO. The hive should get a really kewl color like grey in chat and the unaligned faction should get.... puke green?
