This should not happen. You should only be penalized for docking with capships, not the station, only seconds before the convoy does. SS to follow.

This isn't a bug, and this should happen. If you're escorting a convoy, you need to stay in space and escort it the whole time.

so you're telling me if you dock early, you get penalized (unconfirmed), but if you turbo off halfway across the galaxy after reaching the destination, you don't get penalized (confirmed)?

follow up: I've docked prior to the mission ending without getting penalized. However, I don't stay docked until the mission is over (but I don't go back to fly with the convoy either).. and I still don't get a penalty. I have yet to try docking and sitting there.

I had a convoy refuse to pay me because i sat in the DEPARTING station for too long. I starting chatting just after taking up the mission, eventually launched followed by the voy, made the whole trip alongside, waited for everyone to dock first (as I always do since I assumed I might get penalized otherwise - which it would seem is true), then docked and the log said that I was docked for too long and therefore got nothing.

Aye. There's something wrong with it.

I fixed this on Saturday, but broke the grouping in the process. Everything should be as intended now.
