jump out point next to station
A couple weeks ago i had a convoy end up with a jump out point about 100 meters from the beginning station, and it actually jumped out at that point.
I'm sure you guys have heard of this before, but I figure it might not hurt to remind you that it still happens as of about two weeks ago.
I'll take a pile of convoy missions either tonight or tomorrow night and see if it happens again. I'll also be sure to take careful note of the /time and starting point/destination etc.

oh this screen shot from another thread shows what i mean about the jump point being next to the station.

though that wasent how i got this bug, i just got it dice rolling on the voys, looking for cappies.
sometimes they go off to a normal jump distance, sometimes they just warp right there.

heh... beat you to it. Seems you may have had a different method for inducing the bug, however.
Ok, we'll try to figure that out. It's been reported many times but was never easily duplicated by us or was not a high enough priority to look further.
atice this is slightly different. In this THEY WARP OUT at the station. not just feed you a bullshit jump point marker.
At one point it seemed like whenever I took out a bunch of my voy in their starting sector, the next voy I took would warp out right next to the station. I didn't test this theory rigorously, though.
look: I think they might actually be related. Convoys tend to warp out where the jump point marker is, regardless of whether it's a jumpable place or not (at least, they definitely have in the past). It's possible that the main bug here is the jump point marker bug, which is just having side effects. Of course, it's also possible that it's unrelated, but that's not a given.
I don't know if they were warping out at the BS marker... I'll test tomorrow. Good call LNH.
I fixed something that may have caused this problem. The fix'll be in the next update. Please check it out after the next update is out.
To followup: when I reproduce the problem on my bug, the ships still jump out at a reasonable point (not the re-assigned jump point).
I think the two problems are the same. The difference is when the problem happens: either before or after the bots launch from the station.
