Severe sector lag in Latos I8
During an assault on i8 today, all involved CHRN defenders reported experiencing sector lag in the form of seeing ships jump around the sector, and large numbers of shots that obviously hit their targets not registering. Multiple times, I personally unloaded an entire FC battery worth of megaposi into various enemy rags at close range without a single shot registering. During this time there were 3 defenders and 5 or 6 attackers flying mostly swarm rags, so the sector was rather full of chaos swarm missiles and such.
The defenders were also hit by the turrets on several occasions today, though we couldn't determine whether we were actually being targeted by them, or just accidentally hit by stray shots. It could be the latter, but it seemed to happen fairly often for that to be the case.

Ive noticed the same (being hit by the turrets when attacking an aggressor). If it was by the gauss i could understand my being in the way, but I have been locked onto by a missile after destroying an enemy ship. Has been happening for awhile, more IFF issues?
You can get caught in the way of gauss fairly often, it's a very big projectile. As for the missile locks: sometimes if you were previously caught in the way of a missile the other missile in the pair or a completely new missile might lock on to you. Dunno why. Confused, bored turret with nothing to shoot. Personally I'm proud of them for standing up to the Man like that. Just be prepared for it if some friendly fire brushed you earlier.
I wasnt noting it as a major concern, merely collaborating ladron's experiences. Stuff happens... most of the time you can just avoid the errant missile lock the same way you would if attacking the station anyway
