Memory Leak Somewhere
I have serious problem since .100 or .101.
The truth is that I upgraded also TargetLS about the same time and I was also playing with another plugins.
Since then, I am experiencing accidental memory leak problem.
I have everything maxed and my VO client usually eats about 500 - 700 MB of memory. It does even now but 5x a day (or so) it suddenly starts lagging and it crashes if I do not restart the client quickly. I thought it could be a memory problem so I checked it when it started lagging. Well yeah, 2GB of physical memory were used.

It happens suddenly but I have not found any particular event triggering the exhaustive memory consumption.
Since I do not know if it is caused by the current VO client, TargetLS or some other plugin and it would be real pain to play 24h without any plugin ... or trying to remove them one by one, I would like to ask you if someone else is experiencing similar problems. Thank you.
Moreover, should not VO client control installed plugins and limit their resources a bit? Printing out an error message like Plugin XYZ requests XXX MB ... disabling. This would speed up finding similar problems.
If it already does, do not beat me. I admit I am that dumb that I have not checked the errors.log yet so I promise to do so right after next crash. (VO overwrites old ones.)
[edit] Nothing in the log.

OK, it is not that sudden memory consumption. It rather starts eat memory about 1MB per second at some point. I felt it sudden because I have memory limit set in my system. As VO client continued allocating more memory it hit the set 2GB per app limit. Then it started lagging.
I am investigating it more deeply but, for now, it looks like the latest TargetLS is causing these problems.

I feel the need to tell you that playing for 24 hours straight is not a very healthy habit...
I believe you know what I mean.
TLS has a leak somewhere in the roid storage/loading section. The leak gets worse the more roids you have stored.
Thanks I'll look into it :)
I am experiencing a similar phenomenon. Had left VO running last night and got home from work and app was using almost 2GB of memory. I had been mining roids using a script to cycle mining on and off as an experiment.
Let me know if you want to run a script or want us to run something to check for the origin of the leak. This is running Ubuntu 9.04 fully updated to current rev levels. AMD 2 processor system.
Thanks

That's what you get for faking your duel standing!
I reverted back to previous TLS.
