Buggy NPC voys
So, I've done this a couple times now.
If you have an NPC voy in sector with you and you logoff, it seems to screw with them.
The first time I did it accidentally, an entire Aeolus voy with teradon were reduced to scrap metal when I logged back in shortly there-after. I was offline for <1 min.
The second time occured outside Sedina D14. An NPC voy launched and I decided to test the logout thing again. I logged, then logged back in very quickly (<30s). When I came back, the voy was unresponsive, so I started shooting at one of the moths. I hadn't quite destroyed it yet, when the entire set of voys (~5-7 ships) disappeared from radar leaving scrap metal behind.

I was unable to reproduce the problem.
Try testing that in a non-station sector. Station sectors are notorious for getting 'stuck' convoys, especially Sedina D14
Thanks for the update. We've been trying to track down issues with convoys lately.
