I get as far as the "Entering Universe..." dialog box, and then it just sits there frozen (music still plays though). I'm on a intel macbook running leopard v10.5.7. Lemme know if you need any more info about the bug.

Getting the same problem... on WinXP

Same here, also on Windows XP. Worked fine once but failed the second time after a restart.

I was finally able to get in after changing a number of things. Here's what I did (in order):
I closed all other running programs.
Opened vendetta.
Went to options and turned down all of the graphics options as far as they could go.
logged in.
Chose a different player character than was selected by default.

As mentioned in the other thread, the problem is related specifically to the sector Sedina D-14 and a few other problem sectors. It has nothing to do you your graphics cards, your OS, or the fact that you mis-spelled the word "crimson" in your user name. When you chose a different character, you were logging on to a different sector.

gee thanks for your reply ladron (not). I'll have you know that's not the same problem I was having and I DID read through the rest of the recent bug reports. It had nothing to do with my station since I was able to use both characters again after doing the things I mentioned.

Heh, I happened to have fixed the problem at about 1:40-1:45 today, so maybe that's why you were able to get on.

Anyways, it should be fixed now and if not, please submit a support ticket.
