convoys caught in exit bays
I was at helios bottom left station , noticed the the jump point is the opposite side of the station from the launch and the dock ports. This station only has one of each. Voys exiting have to turn 180 deg and fly round the station, and the odd ship then manages to get itself caught in the docking port and can't get out.
Not a major bug, but frustrating for someone who gets a voy tied up there.

Thanks. I'm about to start trying to solve this problem, and the more problem sectors I know about, to test with, the better.

I have been watching voys leave a few stations , many npcs sustain damage by hitting ariels. Not a huge amount , 10 % or so . Can npcs "see " them ?
they need to fly straight out for about 10 seconds....
on second thought 2 seconds of turbo then limit turn to about 4 degrees per second should give a nice spiral around the station....

Fair point PaKettle , but some stations ( eg sed k13 ) have a roid in line with the exit bay. A few secs of turbo would be fun , but would mince an entire voy ....
