"Target nearest enemy" bugged in border skirmish
Last night while doing bs with another player in my group, the "Target nearest enemy" command was targeting the player in my group instead of enemy ships. If the group member was not in the sector with me, it worked normally. If group member was in sector, it would target the group member every time. Our factions were nearly the same....both Serco with high standing and Itani hated.
I've noticed this numerous times, and it seems the same way in border patrol.
Hm, I thought that was fixed. I'll take a look at the code. It's most likely not filtering out group members. But it shouldn't be thinking that another player of the same faction is your enemy, unless that person also has low standing with Serco or the faction controlling the sector.
The whole 'enemy' thing is nebulous. It's currently an amalgamation of 'an enemy of your faction' and 'an enemy of the faction controlling the sector', along with other things like whether that player shot you in the past, if you're in the same group, etc...

Thanks ray. Yeah I could see if it was a faction lvl or controlling area, but the same group thing is really annoying.
Thanks for looking into this.
