Gauss turret aiming from capships.
When manning a capship turret in BS missions the Autoaim reticule bounces around the target and the gauss shots tend to miss the target by a long way .
For example , target a static rag from a static connie at a range of 150 m. The crosshair is dead on the target, but the autoaim reticule jumps to about 10 deg off target in a random pattern at about 2 jumps /second. Consequenty it takes many shots to hit the target. This seems to occur with both aa on and aa off.
It feels as if an aiming randomness applied to unmanned turrets in the interests of "ai" is also being applied to manned turrets.
