Am i supposed to be able to shoot the turrets myself or is this an oversight?

I bought three shield turrets and i played chicken with hive bots in a moth and once i became bored with shielding myself forever I swarmed them to death

This doesn't really work against a player as they just straffe around the shields and shoot me but still...am I even supposed to be able to do that? heh

I only attacked one player with it heh

Aww my atlas x with a shield turret was working great in pvp. I too am saddened to see this is an oversight.
