I ran a mining mission at Jallik D-4, and the mission would not finish after I completed it. I was supposed to receive 70,000 credits for mining and delivering 200x Premium Ferric Ore. (I have a screen shot of this)

The progress panel shows 200/200 delivered, but I never got the payoff and the mission would not close.

Um. It looks like some of the ore wasn't mined?

That's just it, I finished the last load, the bottom of the screen says "All 200x Premium Ferric Ore delivered successfully."

Look at the upper window, the "to do" check list? The first one is unchecked and says I still need to mine more ore, the next one is checked and says I have delivered all the required loads.

I even went back and got one more load, but that did nothing. I could not apply that to this mission, only sell it to the station.

So I am out the 70 grand, that's one. The program did not credit me with finishing the mission even though it shows that I did finish it, that's 2. I am out the time it took to finish the mission since I did not get the reward expected, that's 3. I checked and it shows an incomplete mission on my part. That's 4.

So basically, the program failed to finish. That is the error, the bug.

It seems to me that you haven't mined all the ore that you delivered.
A few things you might have done:

1: you mined the ore before you started the mission and gave it to the station.
2: you picked up the ore from a destroyed bot or just floating in the sector.

Either of these scenarios will trigger the mission to think that you didn't MINE the ore fresh, which is what you're supposed to do.

Ah, you know, I did pick up some stray ore floating around, dang it! OK, I think you got it right.

OK, just so long as there was no bug, then I will do the mission again and not sweat it.
