I'm running a new character through some mission trees, and I've gotten stuck half way through Phazerlight's Manufacturing missions. I've done Water Distiller and all four of the next set of missions, but the transparent metal mission hasn't appeared anywhere. I've looked at a few different mining and commercial stations, but I can't find it. It's possible that I'm missing some crucial attribute, but this character has generally better stats than the other character I've successfully moved through this tree in the past. Has something come asunder behind the scenes and busted this mission?

I'm stuck with IE at the moment (so, no editor), however from what I remember there are a couple reasons that mission may not be showing. A) if you've done any of the "Xithricite Apothecarium" mission tree ahead of time the mission doesn't show or B) if you have Axia hate.

I think I did "A)" for continuity's sake, however I'll be taking a look at this tree soon and will see if there's any way it could be modified to be more lenient.

Thanks for that Phaserlight. This character is Axia +0, and I'm fairly sure I haven't done any Xith-related missions yet (I didn't know you could do those before the Transparent metal and Xith refinery missions).

same problem. I havent done xith missions and ive loved by axia. So it doesnt effect the tree if i just go take the xith mission?

[edit] phaser is right the xith tree cant be started and also a vismetal refinert mission cant have been done. Oh and theres a max of mining level 8. :(

It's probably the max of mining level 8 that did it for me. This character has/had high mining stats. Problem "solved" I guess.
