Another VO "crashed"

Mar 06, 2009 RelayeR link
I logged off in the normal manner with "plugins" activated and crashed. - I was in Latos M-7. It may have been something in "plugins", the overloaded processor or the video memory (1Ghz iMac - 64 megs of video memory).
Also, two attempts at sending bug report gave the "failed" response.

[edit]
A second attempt at logging off without "plugins" resulted in a clean log-off.

[edit 2]
A third attempt with "plugins" activated resulted in another end-of-session crash. Also, another attempt at sending "bugreport" reported "failed".

What plugins do you have?

(And what's with the "quotes"?)

This sounds like the same problem I was having. I narrowed the problewm down to making changes in the options>controls prior to quitting VO. I did not encounter a problem sending the bugreport, however.

I was able to resolve the problem by making the changes in Options>controls directly in the config.ini file and then making keyboard changes one at a time, quitting to my desktop after each keyboard control modification.

It also seemed like the problem had something to do with me, while in-game, hitting the key which causes my KB to write in Japanese, although that may have been merely a coincidence. I also use an Apple Mac.

I'm getting the same problem the last few days. I log off "normally" but i get the crash/bug report page. I didn't say anyting because to me i didn't rally crash i wanted to exit the game. Is this happening to anyone else?

There was a problem with the bug reporter server, that's why you were getting failed bug report submissions. It is fixed now.

none of those causes crashes from what i know,
i guess you'll have to try them one by one.

TagPreciseHealth you can remove now, it was integrated into the interface code and pushed to production a few weeks ago.
