Invulnerable Hive Queens?
Some of the hive queens appear to have infinite shields.
A perfectly stacked load of rockets from two rags wasn't able to drop the shields by 1%. This happened in 3/5 hive skirmishes today.

It's a feature!
Their shield recharge rate is proportional to their support from surrounding colonies of hive collectors. If you take those out the queens are easier to kill.

I didn't have any clue. Hmm... sounds like we need a mission string to introduce the player to the hive and its mechanics. *waddles over to the PCC*
Another thing is that the client doesn't treat the double capacity shields of the Skirmish queens as it should. Since the shields are "200%" strength and the bar only shows up to 100% any damage you inflict is not visible until at least "51%" damage has been done. So you might in fact be doing a lot of damage Apex, you just cant see it without the TagPreciseHealth Plugin.
Sometimes the shield recharge rate are pretty out of whack though. I've seen queens with rates over 100K.
It's like they get stronger the longer the queens live or something. Destroying hive colonies made hardly a difference.
This used to be the case a couple of weeks ago ...dunno if that has changed.

It is still like that spuck, the fewer queens left alive in a system the harder it is to knock out the shields. The last one or two can be *VERY* hard.
